This museum gives you an insight not only of the past but also the future, with hands on exhibits.

Nearest mooring at Castlefield Junction.

As you approach the junction on the canal look out for the widest railway viaduct arch through which are the moorings. The museum can be seen across Liverpool Road. This mooring is also ideal for all that Manchester offers. The Tourist Information Centre is located in St. Peters Square, turn right up to Deansgate, left along Deansgate to Peter Street, turn right up to St. Peters Square.

A must to take you back in time through the representation of a 1920's street with a house, school, shops, chapel and pub. The exhibits from that era are fascinating.
